One day I'll actually draw a figure in an environment. Not today, though.

My mother found my sketchbook the other day-- a moment I've been dreading since I stopped drawing ponies. Needless to say, she asked me (in a concerned voice) if I was depressed because she mistook my inability to properly render smiling people for some emotional distress. I simply answered "no" and told her, truthfully, that my drawings generally don't reflect my emotional state.

Maybe when she finds my sketchbook full of human hair and fingernail clippings, she'll have more reason to worry.

I almost never draw environments with characters either. Nice design!
